Major: Human Biology

Noted for her strong determination and unique sense of humor, Trini makes a constant effort to help the underserved in her community. In her first year at Stanford, Trini infused her passion for helping others through her involvement in many interpreting activities. She volunteers her time as being a Spanish interpreter at Arbor Free Clinic, she tutors Spanish speaking students at Stanford’s Escondido elementary, and she was an English tutor for the janitor’s English immersion program held at Stanford. Her eagerness to continue learning and desire to help others has sparked Trini's interest in pursuing medicine. She will be entering her sophomore year at Stanford in the fall of 2004 and intends to major in human biology.
