Hometown: Redwood City, CA School: Stanford

Elissa loves to learn about people. Whether it is through books, which she always seems to have at her fingertips, or through long, wonderful conversations, her eyes shine with enthusiasm whenever she is around new ideas. Elissa will be a sophomore at Stanford University in the fall and she is thinking of majoring in English while taking Pre-Med courses. She has always believed that the best way she can serve the world is through her patient, caring demeanor in a medical setting. She would love to travel the world and meet as many people as she possibly can. Elissa plays the alto saxophone in the Stanford Band and loves to dance. She could not have thought of a better way to spend her summer than interacting with the inspiring people at Quest.
